Zafer SÜMENGEN

He was born in 1964 in Tomarza/KAYSERİ.

He graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Finance in 1988.

Zafer SÜMENGEN, who started his business life in 1989 at TST Touristic and Sportive Facilities Construction and Operation Corp., held various positions in the fields of accounting and finance within Anadolu Financial Institution Corp. in Ankara and Konya. Between 2001 and 2007, he worked as Financial and Administrative Affairs Manager in İstanbul Energy Industry and Trade Corp. which operates in the development of alternative energy projects and as Company Manager in Altınbel Construction Company, which operates in the construction and service sector within Altındağ Municipality, in 2007.

Tasarruf Mevduat Sigorta Fonu Yönetiminde manyezit maden işletme faaliyetlerini yürüten KÜMAŞ Manyazit A.Ş.'de ve metal döküm sektöründe faaliyetlerini sürdüren Entil Endüstri Yatırımları Ticaret A.Ş' de Satınalma ile Mali ve İdari İşler Müdürlüğü görevleriyle ile iş hayatında devam eden Zafer SÜMENGEN, 2016 yılında hidroelektrik santrallerin mekanik ve elektronik sistemlerinin üretimini ve sahada uygulamasını yapan Temsan A.Ş'de Yönetim Kurulu üyeliği ve Genel Müdür Yardımcılığı görevini üstlendi.

Zafer SÜMENGEN, who continued his business life with the duties of Management of Purchasing and Financial and Administrative Affairs at KÜMAŞ Manyazit Corp. which carries out magnesite mining operations under the Management of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund, and Entil Industry Investments Trade Corp., which continues its activities in the metal casting sector, served as a Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Manager at Temsan Corp., which manufactures and implements the mechanical and electronic systems of hydroelectric power plants in the field in 2016.

Zafer SÜMENGEN, who was appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Electricity Generation Corp. in accordance with the Presidential decision numbered 2020/26 and as the member of the Board of Directors of the Electricity Generation Corp., in accordance with the Presidential decision numbered 2021/293, is married and has 2 children.
