Bursa CCPP Excitation System Rehabilitation Project

Due to the need for rehabilitation of the Excitation Systems of the 13.8 kV Turbo Generators (6 units) at the Bursa Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, which has an installed capacity of 1432 MWe, a project was initiated following preliminary preparations. Under the contract signed with TEMSAN Inc. General Directorate, the new excitation systems are to be designed and manufactured using domestic resources.

As of today:

• The excitation system of the GT22 Gas Turbine has been successfully commissioned without any issues.

• For the GT12 Gas Turbine, disassembly and reassembly processes have been successfully completed, and commissioning activities are currently ongoing.
