Rehabilitation Project of Excitation and Start-up (SFC) Systems at Istanbul A CCPP

Following preliminary assessments regarding the need for rehabilitation of the Excitation and Start-up (SFC) Systems of the GT11 and GT12 Gas Turbine Generators at the Istanbul A Combined Cycle Power Plant, which has an installed capacity of 1350 MWe, a public tender was conducted. As a result, a new system, designed and manufactured using domestic resources, is currently under installation.

As of today, the disassembly and reassembly works for the GT12 Gas Turbine’s Excitation and Start-up System have been successfully completed, and commissioning activities are currently ongoing.
