SOMA A THERMAL POWER PLANT

With the decision of the Council of Ministers dated October 21, 1953, it was decided to establish the 2 x 22 MW Soma-A Thermal Power Plant.

With the tender held in 1954, the establishment of the power plant was given to the French company ALSTHOM, and the power plant was put into operation in 1957. The design annual production capacity of the power plant is 286 million kWh.
